Chinese Crested puppyI have bred and shown my Dogs for over 30 years. The first 20 years I bred and showed my Yorkshire Terriers. The last 15 years I have shown and bred Chinese Crested's. My goal is to Breed for good Health, Quality and Temperament. I usually breed one or two Litters a year. I keep a puppy back to show and continue my breeding program. I place the rest of my puppies in loving homes on a Spay Neuter Contract or a Show Contract. When I got my first Crested A friend of mine took over my Yorkies and my breeding program. He continues to breed and show the yorkies and has done very well with them. My life is totally dedicated to the Chinese Crested Breed.

I have put AKC Championships on 40+ Chinese Crested's. Some of the Dogs I have Shown have been in the Top 10 and the Top 25 in the Nation. As a Breeder I Health Test all my Dogs yearly. All my dogs are Optigen Tested for PRCD and they are Eye Cerfed every year for PRA. My dogs have passed all of there tests.

Chinese Crested dogI started thinking about my Breeding Program in 1993 by asking a lot of questions, going to the AKC Shows, reading all the books I could find on the Chinese Crested and studying pedigrees. I met and talked with different Breeders about the Chinese Crested Breed. The AKC has a Standard for Chinese Crested's that we go by.(I would reccommend that you go to the AKC website and read it) This is suppose to be what the ideal Crested is supposed to look like. When I plan a breeding I try to keep the Standard in mind. But there is never a perfect dog when we breed. I mainly try to breed for good health, conformation and temperament. The line's that most of my Pedigrees come from are N'CO, Tamarlane, Makara, Jewels and Puffin. These kennels breed outstanding Top Winning Chinese Cresteds and I feel very fortunate that they have shared there lines with me.

I love going to the Dog Shows and have always shown my own dogs. All the Chinese Crested's I have shown have been special in there own ways. One of the Dogs that I had the privilege to own and show about 6 years ago was CH Puffin Photo Finish At Shomars I got her up to # 8 in the AKC Standings for Chinese Crested's . (She is on the very top of this page) I bred her to CH Jewels Millieum Party last year and got a Beautiful Female that I just finished out of the Bred by Class. Her name is CH Shomars Dash Of Class.(She is in the Little Red Bed ) I am now Showing a little female "Shomars We-B Tyme-Less" (Her Picture is on the bottom) She has received several Best Of Breeds and went Reserve in May 2008 at the ACCC National Regional in Denver Colo which had a very very large entry. This is a very Prestigious show that the ACCC has every year in different parts of the USA. I am so proud of this little girl.I plan to Special her at the AKC Shows in 2009. I feel I have come a long way in the last 15 years and is definitely for the love of the Chinese Crested Breed.
